Write the menu words and pictures customers read. Clover sets price and stock.
You write the words and pictures customers read on the menu. Clover, the register system at the counter, sets the price and whether an item is in stock.
The two tabs
Content holds the text and pictures, shared by every location.
Merchants lists one row per location with the details Clover sends.
Merchants has a Search merchants box, and you cannot add a row there.
English and Spanish
Name and the description take both languages. Use the Locale switch to write the Spanish text.
The location switcher filters the lists
With a location chosen, a list shows only what that location sells. With none chosen, it shows everything.
Hide something from the whole menu
The Disabled box in the sidebar hides the entry at every location.
Its note reads Hide this entry from the site menu at every store.
Then the faster route: on the dashboard, open the Menu availability panel.
Use Search catalog entries or Disabled only, and switch the entry off.
The panel groups entries as Categories, Item groups, Items, Modifier groups, Modifiers.
It sets the same value as the Disabled box.

Items, Categories, and Item groups show a locked Slug with an Unlock button.

Saving
On Categories, Modifiers, and Modifier groups your edits save as you type as a draft.
Publish changes puts them on the site.
On Items and Item groups Save publishes right away.
The website shows a published change on the next visit.
What each menu screen holds

Good to know
The Clover connection fills in Dedupe Key.
It matches the same entry across locations, and you cannot change it.
